The Eucharist is Christ's greatest expression of His love for us. What a great gift is His continual presence in the Blessed Sacrament! The parishioners who have participated in Adoration would surely agree that they have had many prayers answered and received many graces. The greatest grace is personal sanctification. Other benefits include personal conversion, fortification against temptations, and a sense of being "in communion" with fellow adorers. By reading and praying for all the needs and intentions written in the Adoration notebook each week, one focuses not just on self, but on the greater good of all.
Since Adoration began, our parish has seen an increase in conversions through the RCIA program, greater participation by parishioners in various parish programs, and generous contibutions of money and time toward the building of the new parish facility. In addition, since we began in 1995, we have been blessed with four religious vocations--Father Dan Lorimer, Sister Catherine Rose (Cathy Coiner), Sister Marie Pierre (Bridget Sercer) and Sister Anna Maria of the Heart of Christ (Maggie Klassen)! This is surely due to prayers offered up each week at the Chapel.
Thank you to the many parishioners who are currently participating, and we invite all those who aren't involved to consider taking just one hour a week to adore Our Lord. Eucharistic Adoration is a bit of heaven on earth, where Jesus is continuously adored by the faithful here on earth, just as He is continuously adored by the angels and saints in hearven. Mother Teresa said, "Every hour you spend with Jesus will be recorded in heaven and retold throughout eternity."

Mary Queen of Angels Parish offers 24 hour Eucharistic Adoration with the Blessed Sacrament in our beautiful Chapel located at 705 S. Holbrook Fort Scott.
Each week Eucharistic Adoration with the Blessed Sacrament opens at 5:00 pm on Monday and remains until Friday at midnight.
